Your role:
As a security engineer within our company you will be part of our agile team. You will work within projects of different customers.
Your tasks will be:
- Research of Linux platform security aspects
- Designing, implementing and configuring different platform security components and features
- Applying your Know-How about Linux Kernel, application and network security
- Integration of security hardening tests of embedded Linux ECUs
- Review and approve merge request for security configurations & settings
What are your skills:
- Degree in Information Technologies, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a comparable qualification
- Ability to seek and understand security needs and research possible solutions
- Solid experience in operating system security, especially Linux
- Hands-on experience working with at least one of the well-known LSMs (AppArmor, SELinux, SMACK, TOMOYO)
- Experienced in Linux security mechanisms like DAC, ACL, Caps, CGROUPs, namespaces, seccomp
- Experience in secure Kernel configuration
- Experience in application security features and hardening
- Good communication skills
- Passion for high quality results and IT Security
- Willingness to take over responsibilities and drive things forward
Good to have:
- Experience with security standards (UNECE WP.29 Cyber Security, ISO/SAE 21434, IEC 62443, ISO 2700x) and risk management methods (e.g. STRIDE, MORA) are a plus
- Familiarity with ARM Trust Zone
- Experience in Secure Boot
- Experience in embedded system development
- Experience in Android Security
